It’s 2014. Having good taste in food doesn’t mean you have to pay $200 for a meal or be doted on by overzealous wait staff; you can have a life-changing dinner from a restaurant in every city around the country for a totally affordable price (provided you’re willing to line up a little bit first).
As with most creative pursuits, the most exciting and talked-about food often comes from the hands and minds of young people, whether they’ve mastered the old techniques or they’re challenging tradition and initiating change across the industry.
We sought out some of the most exciting twenty- and thirty- somethings (all of whom seem ridiculously cool) whose food is making an impact on tongues, blogs and food columns all around the country, and even the world
