The arrogant demeanour, the staunch guarding of borders and boundaries, the unexplained love of knights and dames — it all makes sense now. Hard-hitting political investigative journalist Hugh Atkin has unearthed an alternate take from the group’s much-loved classic Monty Python and the Holy Grail that reveals out Prime Minster enjoyed a glimpse of early stardom as the infamous Black Knight. Turns out he was talking about “efficiency dividends” back then too.

In fact, Atkin has a long history of exposing previously unseen moments in political history. In 2008 he had exclusive footage of John McCain getting rickrolled by Barrack Obama. He unearthed a clip from Mitt Romney’s short-lived rap career and revealed the blatant plagiarism Daft Punk carried out against our very own Finance Minister.
