This Supercut Of Disney Villains Falling To Their Deaths Is Immensely Satisfying

Eat it, Gaston.

Disney films have a tried-and-true method of dispatching with the villain in their final moments — the old falling-to-their-death trick, complete with a close-up shot of their doomed face as they scream “NOOOOOOOOooooooooo…” *splat*. It’s the perfect get out of jail free card for Disney writers — it provides rough justice to the villain, it’s an easy way of letting the audience know that the villain has just lost, and it ensures the hero doesn’t get their hands dirty.

Turns out it’s such a good plot device it’s in almost every movie you loved growing up. Everyone from Scar to Gaston to Snow White’s evil stepmum met their end by faceplanting from a great height, and a new supercut proves it.

Based on that track record, the new Star Wars movie is going to end with Darth Whoever comically overbalancing and falling into a space-cavern or something.

H/t Mashable.
