If you’re an Australian rowing boy who has a burning desire to get your kit off for a good cause, then we have some extremely good news, because the world-famous Warwick Rowers are coming to Australia in search of talent.

The Warwick Rowers are world famous for their cheeky (please excuse the pun) nude calendars that raise money to combat homophobia in sport. Fans include Sir Ian McKellan, Kris Jenner and our Kylie Minogue. And it’s pretty easy to see why the calendars are so appreciated.

Another month, another picture! Happy November everyone, not too long until you get to switch to our 2018 calendar!

It’s just good fun.

The first Warwick Rowers calendar was launched in 2009 and the franchise has since grown to become an unexpected hit. It’s achieved global recognition as a fundraising initiative and a public awareness campaign aimed at eradicating homophobia in sport and educating people about straight privilege.

Sales of Warwick Rowers products have led to the creation of Sport Allies, a charity set up to promote greater LGBTIQ+ inclusion and more gender equality in sport. It’s a great cause, with a fantastic approach (butts) to driving awareness to their important issues.

And now for the first time ever, the Warwick Rowers are coming to Australia and looking for a local hottie to include in their work. They’ve sent a national callout for Australian rowers who want to participate in a book, film and possibly a calendar to commemorate Australia’s newfound  LGBTQI+ rights.

The Australian collaboration coincides with the release of the hotly anticipated 2018 Warwick Rowers Calendar, the upcoming 40th Anniversary of the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras, and the recent passing of marriage equality.

Producer of the Warwick Rowers calendar Angus Malcolm said: “We have been following with great interest Australia’s support of LGBTIQ+ rights and believe now is a perfect time for the Warwick Rowers’ first ever collaboration. We want to lend our global influence to help spread Australia’s great track record on LGBTIQ+ issues.”

He also confirmed that Australia is particularly thirsty for naked sportsman content, which should be a point of national pride.

“We also want to give back to our Australian fans who have become one of the top five markets for our world-famous calendar, which is quite a feat considering our calendar sells to over eighty countries every year.”

Any rowing types who are interested in doing a good deed or simply chilling with some pals with your junk hanging out can go and register their interest at their website. If you want to find out more about what to expect at a Warwick Rowers shoot, and learn a little about why they are so passionate about their cause, watch this video:
