The Rock hosted SNL this weekend, and it was an example of just how great the guest-host format can be when they find the right person for the job; Dwayne Johnson’s willingness to throw himself into ridiculous situations for the laugh has yielded excellent results before, and SNL was no exception. The show’s highlight was undoubtedly the gritty reboot of Bambi as a revenge action flick a la Taken, with Johnson as the orphaned-deer-turned-angel-of-vengeance.
Would genuinely watch.
