The New Trailer For ‘Community’ Season Six Spoofs ‘The Avengers’, Is Surprisingly Not-Terrible
One last hurrah.
The announcement last year that Yahoo! was reviving perpetually-beleaguered comedy Community triggered complex and conflicting emotions in fans of the show from its glory days. On the one hand, half the founding cast is gone, the show is past its prime and its endless cycle of hiatuses, cancellations, walkouts and walk-back-ins alienated a solid contingent of the fanbase that kept the show alive despite NBC’s wavering.
On the other hand, the trailer for the sixth and final season is out, and it looks like they’re not going down without a fight.
So which will Community season six be? A miserable, limping end to a drawn-out mess, a la Dexter? A triumphant and unexpected ending on a high, like Parks and Recreation? Or sometihng in between? Only time will tell.
