The Lonely Island’s New SNL Digital Short Is About Sex And Killing Osama Bin Laden

The Lonely Island dropped their first SNL Digital Short in over a year this weekend and, let me tell you, it sure is something. The clip, titled ‘Finest Girl (Bin Laden Song)’, features Andy Samberg trying to bang Vanessa Bayer while she politely lets him know she’d like to be “[fucked] harder than the military fucked Bin Laden”.

Fred Armisen makes an appearance with a beard and turban, and at one point tenderly touches hands and locks eyes with Uncle Sam. Samberg’s backed by dancers in camouflage bikinis. There are many American flags. At one point, he undergoes a mission to “terrorise that pussy” in the same way American troops executed orders to shoot and kill the leader of a group responsible for murdering thousands of innocent civilians. Lol, good times.

Some important context: this clip is made to hype the upcoming release of Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping. The film, The Lonely Island’s second feature to date, is a satire of modern pop in which Samberg plays an egotistical singer called Conner4Real. The trailer features him dancing with humping holograms of Adam Levine and the film’s being tentatively hailed as “this generation’s Zoolander“. Seems about on par.
