Behold, the most hardcore trailer ever released to feature ‘Shoop’ by Salt-N-Pepa:

After a month or so of buzz from Comic-Con and a day of excitement following the first (characteristically cocky) teaser, the first official trailer for Deadpool has now dropped in all its gross, ridiculous glory. Both the general release green-band and red-band trailers are now online, and Conan had to temporarily alter its classification in order to score the US premiere for the latter.

Here are a few of the reasons why:

Though online for less than an hour, Twitter’s already predictably flooded with Marvel fans smashing the keyboard with one hand and holding down their raging erections with the other. Some, however, aren’t quite so sold:

Unfortunately we’ll have to wait awhile for a final verdict. Deadpool won’t be in cinemas until sometime next February.
