Remember when James Bond was all about parkour? I miss parkour.

It’s been more than half a century since James Bond first made his debut on the silver screen, nine years since Daniel Craig took over the iconic role, and now we have our first look at the fourth film in his series. The teaser trailer for the latest film, Spectre, was released overnight and, it’s good news if you like mystery and intrigue.

Darkness! Isolation! Menacing figures! Religion! Secrets! A ring with an octopus on it! It’s got it all.

This latest film comes to us again from Sam Mendes, the director behind 2012’s Skyfall, and it looks to sum up much of the issues raised in the last film. Ralph Fiennes will be taking over Judi Dench’s role as M and your favourite European humping enthusiast/terrifying human Christoph Waltz will be lending his considerable talents as the film’s villain.

We’ll no doubt have some more context when the full trailer’s released, but for now it seems kind of incomplete; there wasn’t even one moment of parkour, random explosion, or creepy sexual innuendo.

The film will be released in Australia on November 12.
