Did you know that it has been 11 years since Summer left Zach at the airport (pfft, Zach) and reunited with Seth via the iconic Spiderman upside-down kiss? I remind you of this firstly to make you feel old, and secondly because after constantly dropping comic book references throughout its run, the creators of The O.C. are finally going to try their hand at a Marvel series.

Hey, remember when Summer dressed up like Wonder Woman (were these kids really meant to be 16)?

Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage — who were also the team behind the similarly fantastic Gossip Girl — will be making a screen adaptation of the Runaways comic book series for Hulu, a story about a group of motley teens who discover that their parents are part of a supervillian collective called ‘The Pride’.

The comics involve a lot of angst, betrayal and distrust of olds, which makes it pretty much identical to any quality teen TV show of the last 25 years. We don’t have a release date or any casting news yet, but if Adam Brody doesn’t make some sort of cameo I will be very, very upset.
