Taylor Swift’s Brand New Single ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ Is Here
Yesterday, after a year in exile, Taylor Swift came out of hiding to announce her new album Reputation. Now, she’s shared the first single from the record — ‘Look What You Made Me Do’.
It’s been three years since Swift’s last album 1989, and a lot’s happened since then. While 1989 was her biggest seller to date — moving over 6 million copies in the US alone, and spawning singles like ‘Shake It Off’, ‘Blank Space’ and ‘Bad Blood’ — the past year hasn’t generated much good PR for Taylor Swift.
She’s kept a low profile ever since Kim Kardashian leaked videos of her giving Kanye West the all-clear to namecheck her in his track ‘Famous’, a move she later threw him under the bus for.
Swift has also been criticised (by us, most recently) for staying silent on the election of US President Donald Trump, while her ongoing beef with fellow popstar Katy Perry has continued to generate headlines.
Reputation, Swift’s sixth album, will be released worldwide on November 10. Listen to ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ below.
