Taylor Swift Surprises/Completely Upstages A Fan’s Bridal Shower
Equally suprising: she carried her own bags from the airport.
Remember in December last year, when hundreds of untouched fanmail letters were found in a dumpster in Taylor Swift’s hometown of Nashville? It seems she’s learnt her lesson, and actually started opening them.
In a video uploaded to YouTube overnight, Taylor Swift talks fans through a letter she got from Gena, “who’s been coming to my shows for years”, which contained an invitation to a wedding and a bridal shower. Swift couldn’t make the wedding, but flew to Ohio for the shower to surprise Gena with a whole bunch of gifts and an innate ability to make someone else’s bridal shower all about her.
Also, she wrote a beautiful new song on the way:
“Going to a bridal shower / Going to a bridal shower / Gonna wear pasta / Gonna go to the bridal shower / Gonna give her some presents.”

I don’t want to take away from Swift’s generous effort to delight one of her biggest fans, but there are young girls everywhere accepting shitty proposals with their fingers crossed behind their backs right now.
