Stephen Fry Calls God A “Capricious, Mean-Minded, Stupid Maniac” On Irish TV, Doesn’t Seem To Like Religion Very Much
"On the assumption that there is a God, it's perfectly apparent that he's monstrous, utterly monstrous."
In an interview with Irish television station RTE, English author, comedian and prominent atheist Stephen Fry was asked what his reaction would be if the God of mainstream Christian faith was in fact real, and he dies and finds himself face-to-face with the deity at the Pearly Gates. Fry, being Fry, had a rather forthright answer to the question.
He doesn’t seem to like this “God” character an awful lot, does he.
