The Holden Barina is a fine automobile. Sold in Australia since 1985, the Barina has been the steed of choice for nervous L-platers and people who don’t mind a lack of legroom for generations.

Now the Barina has the recognition it deserves, in the form of this stellar movie-style trailer made by someone looking to shift their 1999 model and with too much time on their hands.

The video was conceived by the Barina’s owner David Johns, who stars in the video and is a bit of a massive babe. There’s a lot to love about this idea, but the single best aspect has to be “performance/style/luxury redefined”, presumably redefined to mean things other than “performance”, “style” and ‘luxury”.

There’s a hashtag you can follow, #buymybarina, if you’re genuinely interested in purchasing this thing or if you want to make facetious remarks about how little you have to buy it with.

Hooray!
