In news that comes as a surprise no one, Snoop Dogg claims he got high in the White House – but he wasn’t in the White House, he was in the White House bathroom, so it’s fine.

Snoop told his tale to Jimmy Kimmel in the latest instalment of Snoop Dogg’s YouTube talk show GGN; fellow weed enthusiast Seth Rogen has previously appeared as a guest on the show, at which point the two got high.

Either the C.I.A or the F.B.I (“the alphabet boys”, as Snoop calls them) asked Snoop: “What are you gonna do, Number One or Number Two?” after he asked to use the bathroom – which would just be standard procedure, obviously. Snoop went on to recount the tale:

“So I said, “Look, when I do the Number Two, I usually, you know, have a cigarette or light something to get the aroma right. And they said, “Well you know what? You can light a piece of napkin.” I said, “I’ll do that.”

Seems it’s just that easy to trick “the alphabet boys”. Then again, Snoop told this story all the while smoking a joint with Jimmy Kimmel watching on.

As Gawker pointed out, though, there are a few gaping holes in Snoop’s story: “how’d he get the weed in, and are the alphabet boys really so easily fooled that they’d mistake the smell of marijuana for burning paper?”

Naturally, the conversation that followed Snoop’s revelation turned towards weed – comparing GGN to Kimmel’s talk show, Kimmel lamented, “Yeah, they don’t let you smoke pot on ABC.”

Kimmel also reminded us that he’s quite the expert at voicing talking dogs – he voiced Spanky the dog in the 2004 movie Garfield, Death’s dog in an episode of Family Guy, and the high dog in Road Trip.

“That’s a role you should have had!” Kimmel tells Snoop. That’s a fair assessment.
