SNL’s Take On The Aziz Ansari Scandal Will Make You Say “Same”

After avoiding the subject last week, the writers at Saturday Night Live have addressed the sexual assault allegations against comedian Aziz Ansari with a sketch about how incredibly uncomfortable it is to do just that.

In an episode hosted by former series regular Will Ferrell, the sketch is set at a dinner party where one of the guests makes the fatal error of bringing up the op-ed in which Ansari was first accused. Turns out everyone has an opinion… they just really don’t want it to be the wrong one.

“I think… that some women…” begins Kate McKinnon.

“Careful,” warns Aidy Bryant.

“While I applaud the movement…” ventures Kenan Thompson.

“Watch it,” warns Heidi Gardner.

“If she wanted to leave…” says Beck Bennett.

“Oh no!” exclaims Farrell.
