As the US Presidential election draws ever closer, celebrities both real and fictitious are lining up around the block to offer their two cents on the respective candidates. On one side you’ve got the likes of Robert DeNiro, Ron Swanson, Meryl Streep and most of The Avengers condemning the appalling behaviour of Donald Trump and throwing their weight behind Hillary Clinton. On the other side you’ve got…Scott Baio.

We’ve also seen the writers at The Simpsons weigh in on the election, via a hilarious, terrifying clip released back in August predicting what a Trump Presidency might look like.

Now, with just a few weeks left until crunch time, The Simpsons staff have hit out at the Republican again, in a new web short that shows Homer heading to the ballot box. Unsurprisingly, he’s voting for Clinton, “the candidate who forgave her husband no matter what he did.”

“I can’t trust this country to someone who’s gone bankrupt six times,” the Simpsons patriarch tells a voter ahead of him in line. “That’s two more than me!”

“But the orange man! He will build a wall to keep out beauty queens who eat too much,” responds the mystery man. “Plus he has a plan to make Russia great again!”

Meanwhile, in an interview earlier this week, The Simpsons creator Matt Groening said that the idea of a President Trump was “beyond satire.”
