If Game of Thrones has proven two things over the past few years, it’s that they know how to kill a person, and they know how to pick a song.

‘The Rains of Castamere’ was performed by the wedding band during season three’s Red Wedding — and Sigur Ros’ cover played over the credits of last night’s episode.

Chilling.

Another version of the song, which is referenced throughout the series and the books, was performed by The National and played over the credits of season two’s ‘Blackwater’.
