Sia Has Released A Christmas Album And Fans Are Feeling Festive

Happy holidays, Sia fans! The yuletide season has come early in the form of a festive album called Everyday Is Christmas.

The album includes ten festive tracks, including ‘Snowman’ (about dating a melting snowman) and ‘Puppies Are Forever’ (a rebuke against the trend of people buying pets just for the Christmas period). The famously eccentric songwriter has clearly moved away from simply covering your standard carols, and has branched out into some of the more contemporary themes of the silly season.

Sia describes Everyday Is Christmas as “accidental”, saying that she couldn’t stop writing original songs and therefore ended up with a whole album. In an interview with Beats 1 DJ Zane Lowe, she explained her motives for the album came from a shortage of good Christmas music.

“There’s obviously the classics and stuff, but anything new, I wasn’t vibing that much on it,” she said.

The album is being hugely appreciated by her fans, who have taken to social media to help spread the joy.
