Sex And The City 3 Is Happening… On Twitter
I'm not sure if anyone wanted this, but apparently it's kinda funny?
Sadly, I missed the whole Sex And The City thing back when it was at its peak, and by “missed” it, I mean I instantly fell asleep on the couch whenever that bouncy Afro-Cuban theme song chimed in. Like, Aaron Sorkin shows or anything with dragons and/or aliens in it, it remains a black spot on my pop culture education. All I know is it involved cupcakes, cosmopolitans, some dude who was named ‘Mr Big’ but not even because he was well-endowed, and it resulted in one of the worst-received movie sequels in Hollywood history.
Perhaps in an attempt to rectify that final point comes the new Twitter account, ‘Sex And The City 3’ (@SATC3quel). Reportedly created by Salon‘s cultural editor Dan D’Addario and reportedly “hilarious“, the account states that it’s tweeting its “favorite puns from the set” of the new Sex And The City sequel, which is obviously a lie but not entirely impossible.
To be honest, I don’t really “get” much of it, but maybe you more seasoned SATC-ers will? Geez, I hope so, otherwise whatta waste of time.
