Prime Minister Scott Morrison is getting mercilessly dragged online after someone in his office posted a cringeworthy meme to his social media accounts featuring lyrics from Fatman Scoop’s extremely NSFW tune ‘Be Faithful’.

The video, which was posted to Morrison’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts on Thursday evening, shows a bunch of Coalition MPs sticking their hands up in the air during Question Time, as the rapper shouts: “You got a hundred dollar bill, get your hands up! / You got a fifty dollar bill, get your hands up! / You got a twenty dollar bill, get your hands up! / You got a ten dollar bill, get your hands up!”

The clip was accompanied by a caption that read (and I apologise in advance for this): “QT was on fire today”, followed by the fire emoji.

But what’s especially embarrassing for the PM is that whoever was behind this clearly didn’t bother listening to the rest of ‘Be Faithful’. If they had, they’d know it contained lyrics such as “To all my n****s that they hit it from the back / Who want to have sex with no strings attached?” as well as a section where Scoop just shouts “Who fuckin’ tonight?” over and over again.

Morrison eventually deleted the meme and apologised, tweeting that “the full lyrics of the song used in my earlier video from QT today were just not OK”.

Thankfully, a bunch of people made copies of it before he did.

Cue one hell of a roasting.
