This Actress Found A Rom Com Script She Wrote At 12, Decided To Make It With Her Famous Friends
WATCH THIS RIGHT NOW.
There isn’t much that you can say about Sarah Ramos’ web series, City Girl. You know when internet is so perfect that it almost spoils it to say too much? This is one of those times.
Basically, Ramos (who made her name on Parenthood) found a romantic comedy script that she wrote when she was 12, about a woman who runs a clothing store and gets migraines a lot. Then she decided to actually make it. Her friends live glamorous and sexy lives. She has an ex-boyfriend who thoughtfully orders her salad for lunch even without her asking. Everyone talks about their ages constantly.
In this series, three parts of which have been released, you will see Ramos joined by Alia Shawkat (Arrested Development), Derek Waters (Drunk History), Dan Byrd (Cougar Town), Esther Povitsky (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend) and more.
Enjoy.
