Sarah Palin: Former Alaskan governor. One-time candidate for Vice President. Fox News contributor. Unwavering conservative. Human gaffe machine. Tina Fey impersonator. And now, as of just a few hours ago, up-and-coming media mogul.

Welcome to Sarah Palin Channel, the brand new subscription-based online TV network which, as its title suggests, is all about Sarah Palin: her life, her politics, her ideas, and her loose and easy way with truth and the English language.

“Are you tired of the media filters? Well, I am. I always have been. So we’re going to do something about it,” Palin promises in her introductory video. “I want to talk directly to you on our channel, on my terms, and no need to please the powers that be.”

Palin, who will “never say never” to a 2016 Presidential run, promises to “go beyond the soundbites and cut through the media’s politically correct filter” to deliver commentary on “important issues facing the nation”. There will be regular video pieces from Palin (‘Sarah Says’), behind-the-scenes clips and backstage coverage, flashbacks to better times, and an ask-me-anything feature for her community. “We’re gonna find solutions.”

The website was populated with a few clips for its launch, featuring Palin backstage with Duck Dynasty, Palin taking you into her kitchen garden, Palin criticising President Obama’s addiction to ‘OPM’ (Other People’s Money), and Palin calling for his impeachment. It also features a word of the day, quote of the day, and image of the day.
