Regina George Is Going To Be In ‘True Detective’ Season Two

The latest batch of casting announcements has been made for True Detective’s upcoming second season, and among the names is a delightfully familiar one: Rachel McAdams, aka Queen Bee Regina George from future religious text Mean Girls.
IGN is reporting that McAdams will play Ani Bezzerides, “a Ventura County Sheriff’s detective whose uncompromising ethics put her at odds with others and the system she serves”. It’s not yet clear if Bezzerides has a modelling contract in Japan, or if John Stamos told her she was pretty once, but it’s reasonable to assume that both of those things are correct.
