The Beautiful Angels From ‘Queer Eye’ Won Some Emmys And Everyone Is So Happy

By now you’d be aware of the wholesome sensation that is Queer Eye. The world loves those beautiful boys and their lovely faces and their ability to transform people’s lives in a positive and glorious fashion.
Since launching on Netflix earlier this year, the show has been praised for its nuanced take on queer issues, as well as just generally being lovely.
Well, now that extreme love for the show has been transformed into the only thing that matters: shiny awards. Three shiny Emmy’s, to be precise. The show, which was nominated for a total of four awards, won for Outstanding Structured Reality Program, Outstanding Picture Editing for a Structured or Competition Reality Program and Outstanding Casting for a Reality Program in yesterday’s Creative Arts Emmy Awards.
WE'RE ABSOLUTELY SOBBING 😭Congratulations to the cast and crew of Queer Eye for taking home the Emmy for Outstanding Structured Reality Program!! CAN YOU BELIEVE??? ✨🌈🌟 pic.twitter.com/fnsIo4P2mn

It really is an outstanding cast — the show wouldn’t work without them.
Season 3 has already been confirmed by Netflix, so we can look forward to more award-winning content soon.
But in the meantime, we can just bask in how happy and excited the Emmy win has made everyone.

Also, it wasn’t entirely good sunshine vibes — there was also some of the Queer Eye fierceness that we love too, as evidences by the always fabulous Jonathan Van Ness clapping back at critics of his dress.
He does look fucking stunning.
Anyway, congrats to the Queer Eye babies, and bring on season 3.
Queer Eye seasons 1 and 2 are currently on Netflix.
