Teenage Ryan Seacrest makes so much sense.

Hey, celebrities were nerdy teens just like us! Cool to know that people like Reese Witherspoon, Amy Schumer and Kumail Nanjiani were just as dorky as we were while going through our formative years.

During last week’s The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, Colbert and Nick Kroll challenged each other to raise funds for the Puerto Rican relief effort by sharing awkward teen photos of themselves on Twitter.

Every time a celebrity shares an awkward teen pic with the hashtag #PuberMe, Colbert’s charity, the Americone Dream Fund, will donate $1,000 to Puerto Rican clean up efforts after Hurricane Maria.

And these fellas are not messing about, lemme tell ya.

Kroll sure knows something about awkward teen years too; his animated comedy, Big Mouth, is all about puberty and dropped on Netflix last Friday.

Celebs far and wide have taken the challenge on with gusto, so Twitter is currently flooded with some of the greatest awkward teen photos in existence. Like these from Adam Scott, Amy Schumer, Will Arnett and Kristen Bell:

Or how about these shots of James Van Der Beek, Kumail Nanjiani, Samantha Bee and Reese Witherspoon?

Here are a couple more for you because, let’s be honest, we could scroll these bad boys all day. Celebs! Being daggy! Being human! They’re just like us and I am OBSESSED WITH IT. (Side note: the Ryan Seacrest pic makes so much sense to me.)

But, truly, no one embodies the awkwardness and abject horror of pubescence quite like John Oliver, seen here being, if possible, even dorkier than you ever thought he could be. He calls this one “the nuclear option”. Enjoy!
