Please Enjoy These Videos And Photos Of People Being Very Happy About Sports This Weekend
Because very occasionally, the internet is a nice place to be.
Over the weekend, some sport was played. Two teams won! (Two teams lost, but those supporters are not reading this, so it’s okay.) The nice thing was that the teams that won the AFL Grand Final, the Western Bulldogs, and the NRL Grand Final, the Cronulla Sharks, were teams that have not won in a very long time.
Because of this, there was a lot of lovely happiness and crying and rejoicing on social media, please let us enjoy some now. Let’s start with the Sharks fans!
First up, we have a man who can’t decide if he’s happy or devastated, so decides to be both. (Please note his supportive partner who tells him she loves him, I love this woman.)

This man thought sinking a shoey was the only way to mark the occasion.

This is a nice image of two prominent Sharkies being very happy.
If you think babies weren’t happy about the Sharks winning, well you’re wrong, here’s the goddamn happiest baby of all time (who coincidentally is the daughter of Luke Lewis).

When you win, you get to jump heaps and hug each other. Winning is the best.

The thing is, you think you’re done with hugging, BUT THEN YOU GOTTA HUG SOME MORE!

This kid doesn’t even fit into her jersey, but she still wore it because that’s how much she cared about a Sharks win. If you don’t believe that she’s cool, please refer to her sunglasses.
I don’t know much about the Cronulla Sharks, but I know this: their club song is very easy to bob too in joyful victory.

Sandra Sully did a report that was basically just video of Sharks supporters crying and running around looking for someone to hug. It was ace.

But hey — what about the AFL! We were pretty happy that the Doggies won. The Hemsworth family were also pretty chuffed about the whole thing.
Bulldogs fans lined up for ages to meet the team, because that’s how good the team is.

Even the Bulldogs were like, “Woah, you guys really like us” and they were stoked.

When Coach Luke Beveridge gave his medal to Bulldogs hero Bob Murphy, everyone started crying and they only stopped this morning because they had to go to work.
What a moment for @BobMurphy02. #AFLGF https://t.co/xSMujdXJF4

I think Bob Murphy might be the Premier of Victoria now, someone please check this.
Some legend called Janet (who is also a Greens senator, but right now we’re focusing on the Doggies) reckons she’s going to be celebrating for a whole year! Janet is going to have a mad one!
Going to be celebrating this win for a long time to come. #AFLGF #bemorebulldog pic.twitter.com/gYjZi91xw2

Franco Cozzo managed his expectations for a while, but then was like “HELL YEAH, WE WON!” because they did!
Yay, sport!
