Pass It On: Watch Obama Tell Congress To “Stop Just Hatin’ All The Time”
fuck da h8rz.
Earlier today (our time) House Republicans voted to enact a lawsuit against Obama for using his executive action powers to implement health care reforms, and Obama responded with the verbal equivalent of flipping them the bird, slapping on some Raybans and riding off on a motorcycle.
In a speech to supporters at a theatre in Kansas City, Obama basically told Republicans he was cool with being sued based on the rationale of “fuck it, I’m outta here in two years anyway, do what you want”. The whole thing is great, but skip to 1:45 for the really good stuff.
Obama’s attitude is kind of understandable, given that Congress has spent his entire term treating its responsibilities as the primary lawmakers on Earth the way I treat my responsibilities towards that cactus I let die from lack of water. In March the Republican-majority House passed the fiftieth bill aimed at repealing Obamacare in three years, where it quite predictably went to the Democrat-controlled Senate and died there, as have the 49 goddamn bills before it. Imagine a room filled with 225 Christopher Pynes and you might get an idea of what Obama has to deal with on the reg.
After more than six years of putting up with that shit, Obama clearly has run out of fucks to give, and he looks happy as all hell about it. “They’re mad ’cause I’m doing my job. And by the way, I’ve told them, I’ve said ‘I’d be happy to do it with you! The only reason I’m doin’ it on my own is you don’t do anything!'”
Cue the “oh he did NOT” reaction from the lady right behind him.
You go, Sassy Obama. Tell them haters where to run to.
