Netflix Throws Presidential Shade, Drops New ‘House Of Cards’ Teaser During Trump’s Inauguration

Today we were given an unsettling glimpse of America under the thumb of a self-serving egomaniac; a man willing to stoop to unimaginable depths in his quest to consolidate his power. It was grim. It was frightening. And it hinted that the worst may still be yet to come.
In an unrelated story, Netflix has just dropped the first teaser trailer for the fifth season of House of Cards.
Hitting the web right in the middle of Donald Trump’s inauguration, this ominous 30-second trailer doesn’t offer anything in the way of plot information, but in terms of capturing the mood in Washington right now I imagine it’s bang on the money. Not an especially subtle move on Netflix’s part, but then again when has House of Cards ever been subtle?
