Not a huge surprise, but it’s nice that they made it official: Netflix has confirmed that sci-fi horror series Stranger Things will be returning in 2017. Series creators the Duffer Brothers have already dropped a few hints as to what the show’s second season might look like, teasing a return to the Upside Down, justice for Barb and a tone inspired by iconic ’80s sequels like Aliens and Terminator 2. We also have it on good authority that Parks and Rec star Ben Schwartz will 100 per cent be involved.
