Michelle Obama’s Carpool Karaoke Was Actually Less Dorky Than You’d Imagine

James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke segments often range from cute, to something that resembles a fever dream (never forget the weird Gwen Stefani, Julia Roberts and George Clooney carpool, ooh boy). When it was announced that First Lady Michelle Obama would feature on The Late Late Show skit, there was excitement coupled with a tinge of ‘Oh no, what is mum going to sing’.

Rest assured, mum nailed it.

Michelle and James sang a little Stevie Wonder (her “favourite”), some ‘Single Ladies’ (a cool mum staple) and discussed what Michelle would miss most about leaving the White House. She said the people, but as if it’s not the three in the morning grilled cheeses and milkshakes, c’mon.
