If you want to catch Methyl Ethel live before 2017 is through, this is your last chance.

The Perth darlings have just locked in their final Australian shows for the year — a limited run they won’t be adding any further dates to. On November 30, Jake Webb and co will play Melbourne’s Croxton Bandroom, before moving onto Brisbane, Sydney and Adelaide. See all the dates below.

It follows the band’s completely sold out national tour in May, which saw them play ten shows in support of their new album Everything Is Forgotten.

In Music Junkee’s round up of the best local releases of 2017 so far, Simone Ubaldi said that Everything Is Forgotten is “what you want from a second album, something bold and unexpected.”

The LP has spawned the singles ‘Ubu’ and ‘Drink Wine’, which have together made Methyl Ethel the third most-played band on triple j in 2017, following only Kendrick Lamar and Lorde.
