So it is, with the Grand Final looming, that the entire state now finds itself barracking for the plucky Western Bulldogs as they prepare to go toe-to-toe with the odds-on favourite Sydney Swans.

A number of Melbourne venues have undergone a little impromptu redecorating, to more fully reflect their state of Footscray fever. For starters, the Railway Hotel in Yarraville got a brand new lick of paint.

Likewise the Royal Mail Hotel in Melbourne, which has temporarily switched its allegiance from the Kangas to the Dogs.
