‘Pride And Prejudice And Zombies’ Is A Movie That’s Happening, And It Involves Matt Smith

This is going to appeal to a very specific set of people, but anyway. Matt Smith hasn’t wasted much time since wrapping up his stint at the eleventh Doctor earlier this year; The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Smith has just joined the cast of the upcoming Pride and Prejudice and Zombies film adaptation, in which the plot of the original novel plays out as though the Victorian English countryside were infested with the Undead and the heroine, Liz Bennett, is a famous zombie hunter because of course she is.

Apparently Smith will play Mr Collins, the parson who proposes to Bennett in the original, so if you don’t like Matt Smith there’s a good chance you’ll be able to see him torn apart by zombies in the not-too-distant future.
