Marvel’s Small Screen Heroes Join Forces In The First Trailer For ‘The Defenders’

Holy crossover! The first trailer for Marvel’s The Defenders is here, featuring all your favourites, and also Iron Fist.
The small screen equivalent of The Avengers, the eight episode Netflix miniseries will see Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist join forces to take on a new enemy threatening their beloved New York. Based on the first trailer, the show will mostly consist of punching people (awesome) and sarcastic dialogue (even better) and evil Sigourney Weaver (for the love of God take my money).
Marco Ramirez, the show’s lead writer, recently told Forbes that if The Avengers are The Beatles then The Defenders are The Ramones. “It’s about a bunch of strong-willed people who are very happy to work independently but realize they have to work together and that they are much stronger together” he said.
The Defenders hits Netflix on August 18.
