Over the weekend a truck carrying 128 honeybee hives crashed on the highway in Seattle releasing 14 million angry bees upon the city. Around this same time, a security guard’s golf cart on the grounds of a Chicago university became sentient, furiously careening around in circles and a Silverback Gorilla at Omaha Zoo in Nebraska launched itself at a little girl beating her chest nearly breaking through the glass.

If you live in Sydney, part of your home is probably underwater so you won’t take much convincing, but hey — one way or another, the apocalypse is coming.

To prepare us for our inevitable demise at the hands of bees/machines/lions/rain/genetically-modified dinosaurs, John Oliver invited Martin Sheen to record a pre-emptive doomsday message on his latest episode of Last Week Tonight.

Are you still at home, dreading heading into the city for fear of being decapitated by a rogue umbrella? Here’s that full video of Kelsey Grammar falling off a stage. Please enjoy it while eating a tub of peanut butter and mourning our ridiculous species.
