Martin Freeman Stars As A Desk-Bound Bilbo In “The Office: Middle Earth” For SNL
Gandalf is a very annoying boss.
Martin Freeman guest-hosted the most recent SNL, and by all accounts he did a bang-up job, delivering a solid episode and proving that funny little men from England who always look slightly confused can lead rich, full lives. One of the episode’s highlights was “The Office: Middle Earth”, in which Bilbo has a pretty severe post-quest comedown and finds himself working for a paper company alongside his shitty boss Gandalf, a kindred spirit receptionist elf and Gollum, the weird one in the office.
