Only a month after they first locked horns over some questionable merchandise, Marilyn Manson has described Justin Bieber as having “the mind of a squirrel” in a new radio interview.

If you missed the first round of mud slinging, let’s catch you up. Last July, Bieber got on the wrong side of the Antichrist Superstar by selling Manson t-shirts with his own name splashed across them — claiming that Manson had given his blessing to “reinterpret” the design.

When the two of them eventually met in a bar after the controversy to discuss the shirts, Bieber told Manson: “I made you relevant again.”

“Bad mistake to say to me,” Manson said of the incident. “He was a real piece of shit in the way he had the arrogance to say that. He was a real touchy-feely guy, too, like, ‘yo yo bro!’ and touches you when he’s talking.

“I’m like, ‘you need to stand down, you’re dick height on me, ok?’ [laughs] ‘Alright? So stand down son.’”

Bieber later sheepishly apologised to Manson over text, and all seemed well. They even planed to “do something together” — although the odds of that collaboration coming to fruition are probably pretty slim now.

A few days ago Manson was quizzed about the incident in a radio interview, and he doesn’t seem to be over it at all:

“Well [Justin Bieber’s] in some sort of sexual religious cult with an Asian version of Dave Navarro, apparently,” Manson said, probably referring to his involvement with Australia’s own Hillsong. “The guy doesn’t wear a shirt… But no, I don’t like to fight with girls, so I don’t want to fight with Justin Bieber.”

Manson was then asked for his opinion about Bieber’s thought process over the repurposed merch, and dryly responded: “I don’t know, because I don’t know how to use the mind of a squirrel. I’m not really sure what he was thinking.”

It’s not the first time Manson has called Bieber a girl — in fact he told NME he initially thought Bieber was a woman when he met him in that bar.

“I went to meet him at a bar. I saw a girl wearing a baby blue shirt and blonde hair. I was looking for Justin Bieber and then that was Justin Bieber,” he said. “And then he said that he made me relevant and I said you’re never going to be relevant and then he ran over a paparazzi leaving church. So God bless him, I hope he does well.”

And with that, this beef is officially back on. Listen to the interview segment below.
