The Splendour in the Grass sideshow rollout is in full swing. Last week, Queens of the Stone Age announced they’re playing shows in Sydney, Melbourne and, um, Darwin. Later that day another 20 acts – including Father John Misty, Catfish & The Bottlemen, HAIM and Stormzy – locked in shows.

Now it’s LCD Soundsystem’s turn. The Brooklyn dance heroes will play two sideshows, one at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on July 24 and the other at Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena on July 26. (Darwin, you’re fresh out of luck this time.)

These dates will be LCD’s first Australian shows since 2010, when they toured with Splendour after the release of This Is Happening. James Murphy retired the band the following year, going out with a bang with one “final” show at Madison Square Garden – before reuniting in 2016 to headline Coachella.

Tickets go on sale Thursday April 20, with a presale happening from Tuesday April 18.
