As if their 2018 line-up wasn’t already big enough, St Jerome’s Laneway Festival have gone and added synthwave crew S U R V I V E to the bill.

You might recognise S U R V I V E as the composers behind the Stranger Things soundtrack — so it’s fitting the announced happened today at the Sydney Opera House, as part of a special event screening show’s anticipated second season.

Laneway’s 2018 line-up was announced early last month, with international stars like The War On Drugs, Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, Father John Misty and Mac DeMarco joining locals like Alex Cameron and Amy Shark, fast-risers like Billie Eilish and cult favourites BADBADNOTGOOD, The Internet and Loyle Carner.

Sideshows for most of the internationals on Laneway’s line-up were announced on Monday, with many shows on sale now.

The Laneway festival tour kicks off on February 2 in Adelaide, before working its way through Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Fremantle. Tickets are on sale now.
