After six long months of speculation that she and rapper Travis Scott were expecting their first child, this morning Kylie Jenner confirmed that she’d given birth to a baby girl on February 1. It wasn’t the “gotcha” reveal Kardashian fans were expecting — the news it wasn’t televised on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and there wasn’t any big Beyonce-style photoshoot.
Instead, Jenner explained in a post on her Instagram why she wanted to keep the pregnancy private, and shared a video full of home movie footage documenting her pregnancy.
The video is called ‘To Our Daughter’ and it’s a bloody tearjerker:
The video is full of actually-very-lovely moments, including bestie Jordyn Woods describing the moment Kylie found out she was pregnant, Kylie hanging out with Travis Scott’s family, Khloe and Kylie bumping bellies, a single tear rolling down Kris Jenner’s face during an ultrasound and shots of Kendall Jenner skyped in for the birth. There’s even our first look at Chicago West, Kim and Kanye’s new baby!
