In news that is sure to delight nerds around the globe, The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Peele’s  Monkeypaw Productions will produce a new version of The Twilight Zone, with Marco Ramirez of Netflix’s Daredevil and The Defenders booked as showrunner.

The hugely influential show was originally created by Rod Serling, and ran for five seasons on CBS from 1959 to 1964, winning three Emmys during its 156-episode run. It’s credited as an inspiration for shows like The X-Files and Black Mirror.

It’s also not the first time the show has been slated for a reboot. An ill-fated attempt in 2002 was cancelled after one season, while there was also word of a revival in 2012 in the hands of X-Men director Bryan Singer.

And so it’s time to prepare yourself for yet another reboot. A reboot not only of sight and sound, but of mind. A journey into a wondrous reboot whose boundaries are that of imagination. Your next stop: The Twilight Zone…
