Last Week Tonight with John Oliver is having a month off, but don’t despair: he used his last episode this week to address the “racist voodoo doll made out of discarded cat hair” that is Donald Trump, and urge him to drop out of the presidential race.

Trump’s campaign is in a weird spot right now. His campaign director has resigned and some, including Michael Moore, have speculated that he’s actually doing all he can to sabotage his campaign because he never really wanted to be president in the first place.

In this segment, John Oliver contends that losing the presidential race would be “brand destroying” for Trump, given his entire persona is actively based on winning (not to mention what it would mean to lose to “crooked Hillary”). Oliver spends the rest of the monologue directly addressing Trump. “You’re either going to win or you’re going to lose, and I think that both of those scenarios ends pretty badly for you,” he says.

“Just drop out. Drop out and tell America that this candidacy was a stunt, a satire to expose the flaws in this system… You would not be a loser, you would be a legend.”

And then Oliver compares the situation to a kicky Scholastic book called The Kid Who Ran For President. Enjoy.
