Jennifer Lawrence And John Oliver Played True Confessions, Laughed Themselves Silly
The trio we didn't even know we wanted!
Tonight Jennifer Lawrence and John Oliver joined Jimmy Fallon on his ‘True Confessions’ segment on The Tonight Show. On face value it seemed like a trio who perhaps wouldn’t have much in common and yet, it turned out to be a bloody funny segment.
The confessions: Jennifer Lawrence maybe took Ambien during the filming of Hunger Games, Jimmy Fallon maybe once offered a song to Sir Paul McCartney (which he rejected) and John Oliver maybe worked at Buckingham Palace as a teenager. And I gotta say — some of the answers were genuinely shocking! (Like, not Colin Farrell confessing that he was once a suspect in a murder investigation shocking, but close.)
Jennifer Lawrence gets caught up on small details (she is a Millennial and therefore doesn’t believe for a second that anyone would call someone rather than text them) and John Oliver seems delightfully flabbergasted by everything that comes out of her mouth. Then halfway through, Jimmy Fallon notices that Jennifer Lawrence has snot on her face, which seems extremely on brand.
