Las Vegas’ finest The Killers will play a free show in Melbourne later this month as part of their headlining performance at the AFL Grand Final.

The band will perform as part of the traditional Grand Final pre-game show on September 30, but for those of us who aren’t able to gain entry to the hallowed MCG during the match, they’ll be playing an additional show after it wraps up at 6pm. Best of all? It’s fucking free.

Punters will be able to access the show through gates 4, 5, and 6 at the MCG after 6pm — you don’t require a ticket to the Grand Final to attend.

There, you’ll be able to catch the band up close and personal, and also watch the presentation of the 2017 AFL premiers. Sounds like a pretty sweet deal, all in all.

The band haven’t yet announced any other Australian shows, so this could be you one opportunity to scream ‘Mr Brightside’ at the top of your lungs.

The Killers’ new album, Wonderful Wonderful, is due to land September 22.
