Aw, hell yeah. This morning SBS have announced the new hosts for their iconic Eurovision coverage: it’s radio host/presenter Myf Warhurst and comedian Joel Creasey! Yes, very good.

Yep, cute.

The pair will replace Julia Zemiro and Sam Pang, which is sad, but given Warhurst’s genuine passion for Eurovision this new choice seems *kisses fingers* bellissimo.

I truly fell in love with Eurovision back in 1998 when Guildo Horn performed a sweaty bell solo mid song for Germany, and from there, it was love at first sight,” says Warhurst. “I’ve hosted Eurovision parties ever since. It was an honour to be a member of the Aussie voting jury last year, but now, getting into the arena and actually hosting the glittery Olympics of music…. It’s an absolute dream gig for me. I’m still pinching myself!”

Now don’t forget, we have skin in the game now — 17-year-old Isaiah Firebrace will be representing Australia in the competition. The new hosting duo who will provide commentary on the Eurovision semi-finals and Grand Final from May 12 to May 14 on SBS.
