Funny Or Die Have Launched A Fake Social Media Site With 200 Of Your Favourite People

Turns out Nick Offerman, Lena Dunham, Charlie Day, Andy Samberg, and Will Arnett are way more fun than your Facebook friends.

Because Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat and All The Rest Of The Internet weren’t already enough, Funny or Die have given you one more reason to do zero work this morning.

Launched today as “a new social media site”, Dips is essentially a shorter version of Vine featuring 1.5 second loops of content. But, unlike the rest of your shitty social media feeds, Dips is exclusively occupied by excellent people. It currently features around 200 videos of your favourite comedians, actors, musicians, and maniacal puppets from your childhood.

Before you go any further, it’s probably worth noting that today is still April Fools in the US — so no, Richard Linklater doesn’t really give a shit about online startups — but that doesn’t make the clips any less entertaining.

Start exploring now, and let yourself be gently hypnotised by Hank from Breaking Bad polishing his head, Buster from Arrested Development uncontrollably cackling about toilet paper, or Joel McHale serenely hacking into a wall with an axe. Or perhaps you’d instead prefer a rap from Jon Hamm, a cheeky smile from Nick Offerman, or a naked Michael Bolton screaming a ballad from the shower.

If this is what April Fools is supposed to be now, what the shit were we all doing yesterday?
