The First Teaser For ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’ Is Here And Yes It’s Got Baby Groot In It

The weird second cousins of the Marvel Cinematic Universe are back! A new teaser set to the rhythm of ‘Hooked on a Feeling’ has given us our first proper glimpse at Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, the highly anticipated sequel to Marvel’s smash hit space opera, and if nothing else it would appear as though director James Gunn has stayed true to the feel of the original.

There’s not much in terms of plot in this thing, although it looks like Star-Lord hasn’t given up his hopes of finding romance with Gamora, despite Drax’s advice that he find “a woman who is pathetic, like you.” We also get confirmation that fan-favourite character Groot is back, and looking particularly adorable for that matter. Other than that it’s mostly just expensive-looking visuals, which to be honest is fine by us.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 hits cinemas in April 2017.
