It’s happening. They are near.

In what will be their first tour of Australia, comedians Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally are bringing their joint stage show to six cities in January and February next year.

For more than a decade, Mullally was best known for her iconic role as Karen Walker on Will and Grace, but since being paired on screen with her real-life husband in Parks and Recreation, it’s difficult to see her as anything other than Tammy Swanson. In full acknowledgement of this, the pair’s latest show is called Summer of 69: No Apostrophe, and Mullally has described it as “a variety show comprised of talking, singing and sex”.

Though they’ve been touring this show around the US this year to great reviews, it far from being the first time they’ve collaborated outside of Parks and Rec. Offerman’s last stand-up special American Ham (which you can check out on Netflix right now) featured the pair talking at length about their relationship and sex life, and they also starred together in a film a couple of years ago which premiered at Sundance. Its promo clip featured Offerman, Mullally, Adam Scott, Alison Brie and others.

Strap in. Things are about to get weird.
