50 Shades of Grey star Dakota Johnson hosted what’s being described as a pretty bland episode of Saturday Night Live over the weekend, but one sketch caught people’s attention for making light of ISIS. Take a look.

For context, the sketch is a parody of a pretty cringeworthy Toyota ad whose take-home message seems to be “fatherhood = patriotism + the military + the new Toyota Camry”.

Nonetheless, Twitter’s patented outrage machine has cranked up, with people calling it “depraved” and “vile” considering the number of Americans who have died at ISIS’ hands. In response, people have pointed to other instances of comedy undercutting ISIS’ power, like this sketch that parodies their infamous execution videos.
